In 1871 the first avocados grown in the United States were produced by R.B. Ord, on the corner of Canon Perdido and De La Vina streets in Santa Barbara. Today, that very corner serves as the home to Barbareño. Tucked in a residential neighborhood two blocks west of State Street, our small restaurant offers a rustic yet contemporary dining room inside, as well as a heated covered outdoor patio. Parking is available on site as well as along the nearby streets. Reservations are recommended, however we do reserve space for walk-in guests.
